Meditation and a man part I
This post is somehow reminded to me by reading Bendz's blog. His posts is good and if I may say so "best readings for those who wants to start to know about meditation practice and spiritual life which can and will affect the life of the practitioner. In the past time, I've learned about meditation, spirituality and the science that comes with them.
Meditation and spirituality are one, they can't go without each other. Spirituality and life are also one, they can't exist without each other. Life and nature are also one as they also cannot exists without each other. So then meditation and nature are one. Before we move on to the topic of meditation, there are several things that should be noted.
Meditation belongs to every living breathing humans on earth. Meditation is not Hindu or Buddha or any other religion, as it is not a religion it self. There is an old proverb in my country, "when you meditate, you are preparing your self to the coming of death". That sounds not to well to the ear
. But the philosophy is that we humans have 2 parts, the flesh and the soul. The brain is considered as the flesh which has negative and positive elements.
When we die, the flesh is the one who actually dies not the soul. So when we die it seems that the logic would state that the soul has to be responsible for whatever the flesh has done in the past life. There are times in life when "the flesh" is doing something that the "soul" doesn't agree for an example:
You are a married man, one day you met some business partners then they asked you to go to a hot nasty discotique to have some fun with the girls there. Your soul has no power over your negative side of the flesh to say "no, don't go there". Don't think that your soul did not try to pull some strings, but the will of the flesh in a human form is very strong.
In meditation, the brain activity simply 'almost' cease to exist.. you dont think of anything, you dont think of bad stuff, you dont think of good stuff, you dont .. think. When you fall into a deep meditative state, the will of the flesh sleeps within you and your soul become active. The more frequent you meditate, the more stronger the will of the soul. When the soul is awake while still in a human form, many things can happen but the most important thing is.. "You are awake" the real You, the pure, not negative, not the will of the flesh, just pure.. "You".
So before you know about meditation, I think you should know what the soul is.
The eye of the soul is different than the flesh
The ear of the soul is different from the flesh
The tounge of the soul is different from the flesh
It does not need air to breath
It does not need food to survive
It does not need water to drink
When on fire
It cannot be burned
When on water
It cannot be drowned
When the fesh is killed
It cannot be killed
The flesh is time linear
The soul is non time linear
That is You-your soul. When you do bad things, your soul cries, when you do good things, your soul cheers. Now that we know a bit about souls, we also now know the difference between a man and a ghost. A man is a shell with the soul inside the flesh while a ghost is without a shell therefor no will of the flesh. I will discuss about ghost on a different blog post, as this is also a conclusion of Part I of this post. I will post the Part II in a few days.
